The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network. IoT involves extending Internet connectivity beyond standard devices, such as desktops, laptops, smart-phones and tablets, to any range of traditionally dumb or non-internet-enabled physical devices and everyday objects.
The main objective of this course is to educate and train the faculty/ researchers/ students on IoT. The participants will be introduced to the state of the art research, development and issues and security etc.
