By June 2016, the installed capacity of the country stands at 304760.75 MW. The Overall generation in the country has been increased from 1048.673 BU during 2014-15 to 1107.386 BU during the year 2015-16. Still, the 18,452 villages have to be electrified which stands at 40% of the total villages.
